ExpFit has been developed at the Institute of Biomedical Engineering (ISIB) of the National Research Council (CNR).

The ExpFit architecture has been designed by Andrea Mari and developed by Alberto Rosano, Giovanni Visentini and Andrea Perin, students of the Technical High School F. Severi.
